VGW, the company behind Chumba Casino, announced on November 2 that Chumba now has a full app on the Apple App Store. Until now, the brand's iPhone app was Chumba Lite, which offered Standard Play with Gold Coins only. Players who wanted Sweeps Coins on a phone had to use the website.

The new listing is called Chumba Casino: Games & Slots, and its seller is VGW Malta Limited. Apple's listing data shows a first release on October 14, with version 1.0.21 posted on October 19. When we checked the listing today it showed an average rating of 4.7 from 455 ratings.
What the app includes
According to VGW's announcement, the app covers:
- The Social Plus game catalogue, exclusive titles, live social casino and progressive jackpots
- Standard Play (Gold Coins) and Promotional Play (Sweeps Coins), in states where Chumba Casino offers both, matching the desktop site
- Profiles, gameplay history and balances that sync in real time between the web and the app
- Login with Face ID or Touch ID
- App Store age-gating for 21+ and mandatory identity verification
The App Store listing adds that the app offers no real-money gambling, that no purchase is necessary, and that sweepstakes play is not available in all states. It names VGW Games Limited as the sole sponsor of the sweepstakes.
"Bringing Chumba Casino to the Apple App Store is an exciting milestone for VGW," said Scott Milford, VGW's Chief Product & Revenue Officer.
The announcement covers iOS only. It does not mention an Android version.
Why it matters
Chumba Casino is VGW's flagship sweepstakes brand, and the launch lands in a busy stretch for the company. In September, VGW agreed to pay $8 million to New York, and it is also testing a separate real-money product, Chumba Spins, in a closed beta. Moving Sweeps Coin play into a native app puts Chumba alongside the operators that shipped dedicated iPhone apps earlier this year.
