Key takeaways
- AceBet updated its Terms of Use on October 21, 2026 and no longer lists California, New York, Tennessee or Idaho as restricted territories.
- In California, Indiana, Maine, New York, Oklahoma and Tennessee, AceBet does not sell Gold Coins. Players there instead receive Sweeps Coins as a bonus with marked packs of Trading Cards, capped at $500 per purchase.
- SweepRanks lists all six of those states as restricted for sweepstakes casinos. A card pack does not change what a state law says.
What changed
AceBet's Terms of Use now open with a notice that they "have been updated as of October 21, 2026." The restricted territories in the new version are Connecticut, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey and Washington.
The archived copy of the same page from October 7, 2026 listed eleven states: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington. That version said Gold Coin purchases from those states would be voided and refunded, minus an administrative fee of up to 10%.
AceBet's current Promotional Play Policy excludes Connecticut, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey and Washington from its sweepstakes. Iowa is new to that list. The September 19 archived copy did not include it, and the policy gives no reason for the change.
How the card pack model works
The policy splits the country in two. Outside six states, players can still receive Sweeps Coins as a bonus on marked Gold Coin packs, up to $1,000 per purchase.
In California, Indiana, Maine, New York, Oklahoma and Tennessee, "Gold Coins are not offered for sale." Players there "may receive Sweeps Coins as a bonus upon the purchase of specifically marked packs of Trading Cards." The policy calls the cards "bona fide products that are also offered for sale on a standalone basis, without any Sweeps Coins, at delux.gg." All card purchases are final.
The sponsor named in the rules is Trey Mark Services Limited, with an address in Nicosia, Cyprus. The rules also cap prize redemptions at $5,000 per entry period in Florida and New York.
Why it matters
Every state on AceBet's card pack list has passed a sweepstakes casino restriction, according to our state tracking. California's ban took effect January 1, 2026. Oklahoma's starts November 1, 2026. Indiana, Maine, New York and Tennessee are also listed as restricted on their state pages. Our tracking also lists Idaho as restricted, and Idaho is no longer on AceBet's excluded list at all.
AceBet's documents do not explain the change or say how the card pack model fits these state laws.
What it means for players
- Check your state first. See California, New York, Indiana, Maine, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Our ban explainer covers how these laws work.
- Know what you are buying. In those six states you are buying a trading card pack. Purchases are final and no refunds are given.
- Read the rules before you redeem. The policy tells players to keep copies of transaction records and the rules as they change. Do that.
- Expect change. Terms that moved once in October can move again, especially as Oklahoma's ban begins.
